To
focus our talks, we had Keynote Speakers, along with a
Discussion Leader for each of the five strands. Participants worked
in a sub-group of colleagues (15-20), engaging in conversations about
issues and challenges, as well as opportunities related to diversity
and learning in a particular area (preK-12, higher education,
community, workplace, preparing future faculty). A culminating goal of
the discussions was to create a series of documents describing the
way(s) that diversity and learning transact. The monograph based on
these discussions is now available for download. See the "Conference
